Now in our 94th year, Petersburg Medical Center continues to serve the residents and guests of Petersburg with up-to-date, quality medical services.
Our primary care clinic, home health service and long-term care center are fully integrated with the acute care hospital. Emergency care is available 24 hours a day.

Health Fair 2014
The 2014 Health Fair is Saturday April 26 from 10-1pm in the community gym. Please come to the fair to pick up your results and hear Dr. Hyer explain what the results mean. (A photo ID will be required to pick up your results.) There will be a seminar on acupuncture and several departments at PMC will provide screening for high blood pressure, memory loss, and hearing loss. Information will also be provided about distracted driving, healthy eating, and more! There will be dozens of other booths from other vendors that will be both interactive and child friendly. Make it a family affair and bring your children!
Please use this website: Health Fair Scheduler to schedule your blood draw appointment. Appointments will be 15 minutes long and are available from 7am-9am on the following days: March 25-27 and April 1-3, 8-10, 15-17. Please note that priority will be given to those patients with appointments.You must be 18 years or older to participate in the Health Fair. All participants will be drawn for the Health Fair Panel. Please fast for 10-12 hours prior to your appointment (water and medications are permitted). Participants can choose to have the following additional testing performed: Hemoglobin A1c (diabetes screen), PSA (prostate cancer screen, recommended for males over 40), TSH (thyroid function), HCV (hepatitis C screen).
If you have your blood drawn for HCV testing after April 10, we cannot guarantee that the results will be back before the Health Fair on April 26.
After scheduling your appointment, please click the link at the end of the confirmation message. This link will take you back to the PMC website where you will be able to pay for your testing with CREDIT CARD / DEBIT CARD / PAYPAL. Payment by CASH or CHECK only can be made in person on the day of your appointment. PMC will not bill insurance.

On the day of your appointment, please go to the hospital conference room to register and pay by CASH or CHECK only (unless payment is made in advance or your employer will be providing the testing) for your health fair labs
